Our Story

Davis Brothers Insurance was established in 2011 when President and founder, Jonathan Davis purchased an established insurance agency in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Davis Brothers purchased a larger office complex in Sherwood, Arkansas and moved all operations to that location in 2014. Exciting growth continues to happen with the acquisitions of neighboring agencies in 2015 & 2018. Our agency represents many of the strongest insurance companies in the country for both Personal and Commercial Lines of insurance. With over 100 years of combined insurance experience to call upon and a professional staff to service clients, pride is taken in the ability to search the marketplace for competitive and sound insurance programs to meet the specific needs of clients—big or small.

Where it all began!

It all began in 2005 when Jonathan came to work for Corker & Associates Insurance as a Commercial Lines producer. After several years of service, Jonathan negotiated a purchase of a minority interest in the agency with the intent of one day buying out the entire operation. This opportunity presented itself in 2011, when plans were discussed among the owners about the future of the agency. Overall the agency lacked luster and needed a new vision to outpace its past performance. Jonathan saw an opportunity to service a wider range of clients. A newly adapted business model arose that was designed for growth, with a larger concentration in personal lines and life insurance. To advance this plan, Allen Davis joined the agency, bringing with him an extensive background with a premiere insurance company as a property claims adjuster.
